Nathan J. Stein


Mr. Stein’s experience includes a wide range of tax, trust, and estate matters including negotiating, litigating, and settling civil and criminal tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. Mr. Stein is regularly involved in sophisticated estate planning, the administration of estates and trusts, closely-held business counseling and business succession planning, the structuring of business entities and joint ventures, and various corporate, partnership and individual income tax matters.

Mr. Stein also has extensive experience acquired within the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. There, his practice focused upon rendering legal advice to audit teams embedded in large corporate taxpayers. In addition, Mr. Stein served on the Management Team of a national tax shelter project.

Mr. Stein served as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Tax Program at Fairleigh Dickenson University in Madison, New Jersey. While he was there, he taught the Taxation of Business Entities.

Mr. Stein is recognized as a “Rising Star” in New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 editions.*
